EUGENE — Oregon cornerback Dontae Manning suffered a left knee injury during Saturday’s scrimmage, but is not expected to be out long-term.
Manning was wearing a full brace on his left knee and among a group of limited players during Oregon’s practice Tuesday morning at the Moshofsky Center, the team’s ninth this spring.
“Right now he has an injury; going through recovery right now,” Oregon coach Dan Lanning said. “We don’t think it’ll be a long, long-term deal. But obviously, we’re monitoring it and his safety’s first.”
Without Manning on the field, redshirt-freshman Darren Barkins took reps with the first-team defense and Avante Dickerson and Jahlil Florence were the second-team cornerbacks.
