Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is healthy for offseason workouts and isn't wearing the knee brace that he donned for all of last season. (Tribune-ReviewSports on Twitter)
Burrow wore the brace on his repaired left knee following the ACL tear that he suffered as a rookie. Fully healthy for the first time in nearly two years, Burrow said, "I’ve just been able to focus on the entirety of myself, weight room and conditioning, on field, throwing, mechanics, all of it, not really focusing on the knee." The LSU product led Cincinnati to an impressive 2021 campaign, culminating in a Super Bowl appearance in Los Angeles. Through 16 games last year, he completed 366 passes for 4,611 yards, 34 touchdowns, and four interceptions. He added 118 yards and two scored on the ground but was also sacked a league-most 51 times for a loss of 370 yards. Heading into 2022, Burrow ranks as a mid-to-low QB1 with a tremendous group of playmakers surrounding him.
