The Titans provided injury updates on Robert Woods and Caleb Farley during training camp.
There are many question marks hovering over the Tennessee Titans heading into the 2022-23 campaign. In order for the team to once again contend for the AFC crown, the Titans will rely on Robert Woods and Caleb Farley, who are both recovering from ACL injuries, to produce at a high level.
Titans fans received positive signs on Day Two of training camp. Woods and Farley were full participants in Wednesday’s practice leaving the knee braces behind.

Woods appears to be ahead of the curve in his rehab process after tearing his ACL in November. At the Titans Foundation Dinner held in May, Woods said that he felt like the team was holding him back, according to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online.
“I actually feel like they’re kind of holding me back a little bit,” Woods said. “I am trying to get back as well as I can, just doing everything (trainer) Todd Toriscelli has me doing, trying to stay focused and be patient with it. Right now I feel really, really good, getting going, being able to do some things.”
Woods is clearly hungry for a return after missing out on the Los Angeles Rams’ Super Bowl run.

Woods looks to be motivated, and even stayed after practice to get some work in on the JUGS Machine.

As for Farley, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel was glowing when addressing the status of the team’s 2021 first-round pick.

Vrabel wasn’t the only one who noticed Farley, either. All-Pro safety Kevin Byard said that Farley “looks really fast” when speaking to the media after Wednesday’s practice.

Farley will assume the role as the Titans’ starting cornerback opposite Kristian Fulton, being tasked with shutting down some of the game’s best wideouts. With so many elite quarterbacks on the Titans’ schedule, Farley will have to prove he is up for the challenge early in the season.
The Titans were snake bit last year using an NFL-record 91 players over the course of the regular season. Tennessee still managed to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but cluster injuries absolutely played a part in the team’s premature postseason exit.
There is still a ways to go before the season opener at home against the New York Giants, but there is reason for optimism surrounding the statuses of Woods and Farley.
